Trapped! (take 2)

When we meet the strong and brave Odysseus, he is trapped on Calypso's island.  Calypso is holding him against his will on her island and Odysseus is anxious to escape. No one else have ventured upon the island, so only Calypso and Odysseus are there. During his long days, Odysseus stares off to the sea, crying desperately, wishing Calypso would allow him to return to his beloved wife, Penelope and home, Ithaca.  Zeus, the kind 'man' he is, sends the messenger god Hermes to relay his demanding message to Calypso. She has been ordered by Zeus to release Odysseus from her island. Once let go,  Odysseus works diligently to build a raft to begin his journey home, but Poseidon, the sea god, for some odd reason strongly dislikes Odysseus.  He creates a terrifying storm, wrecking Odysseus' carefully built raft, on another island's shore, where Odysseus falls into a deep deep sleep.
